Release Party @ the Loft (The 808 Experiment: Vol 3)

The 808 Experiment: Vol 3 Release Party featured over 12 performances from artists off the project. The event was co-sponsored by Blast by Colt 45. Over 600 ppl came out to the event. 3 Little Digs covered the event with a video documentary (below) and Lee Starnes was present taking pictures (below). We also captured all the performances, which can be found on youtube.

The California native grabs the microphone and spits a verse in the SMKA cypher. Check out below for the Young Lyxx track off The 808 Experiment: Vol 3. Lyxx has been making some noise in Atlanta for the past couple years, and was one of local artists we wanted to make sure we had on the project this year.

This cypher was shot by 3 Little Digs at Tree Sounds Studios, and also included Phil Ade, Donny Goines, Young Scolla, Jack Preston and Rittz… which were all artists featured on The 808 Experiment: Vol 3.

We were excited to have Jack Preston on the project this year, and enjoy working with new & talented artists in the Atlanta scene. Jack is much more than an MC, and provides a very musical approach to the process. Jack and 808 Blake worked closely in the studio to make “Mechanical Love” come about.
