Ruby Hornet linked up with the homie Yelawolf as he performed for the first time in Chicago. I have said it before and I’ll say it again, Yela is one of the best performers in hip-hop…fact!

Yelawolf is one of the most intriguing and refreshing artists of 2010 and a good part of the praise is due to the passion and energy he displays during his live show. Yelawolf has performed all over the world, but before his 7.17.10 show at The Darkroom, he had never hit a Chicago stage, making Yelawolf’s first Chicago performance highly anticipated.

Ruby Hornet came down last week and covered the Perfect Attendance event…here is a recap of the night/their weekend and the performances that took place. Congrats AGAIN to FKi for taking home the GOLD.

“We took a trip down to Atlanta, GA for September’s Perfect Attendance. The event included a showcase featuring RE, FKI, Big Chad Famous, and City Council. Mikkey Halsted was the honor roll performer, and after the show we got a chance to do some sightseeing, including a rare Andre 3000 spotting. Check it all out in this new RH video.” -Ruby Hornet
