[ATL Event] Red Bull: King of the Rock (July 10th)
Red Bull King of the Rock is a 1 on 1 street basketball tournament with qualifiers all over the U.S. The Red Bull King of the Rock Finals is held on “The Rock”, that’s right Alcatraz’s prison yard courts. The series seeks to take the rock back to the rock, finding the nation’s top Streetballer.
Our Red Bull King of the Rock Qualifier will be held on July 10th from 6pm-11pm at Central Park in the Old 4th Ward. Please feel free to share the information on the event below to your network (e-blasts, social media, websites, etc. by posting the e-flyer and linking the video). We are looking to draw 64 of Atlanta’s top players to represent our city in the finals this fall. We would also like to draw a large spectator base, as Atlanta is one of the only cities in the U.S. being filmed for the RB KoR T.V. series.
ATL Tonight: Red Bull EmCee Event "THE ROAD TO 8 MILE"
Eight Emcees will battle against each other, the clock and their mind’s eye when they are tested to create the sickest flows they can with on-the-spot based spontaneous cues.
Mix-tape legend and platinum selling producer, Don Cannon, will judge the three rounds along with ManChild (Red Bull EmSee ‘09 champion), and rapper, Bun B! D.R.E.S tha BEATnik will man the mic and DJ Lord will keep tracks coming on the ones and twos. Bun B will also make a special performance with hits from his upcoming album, “Trill OG“.
