This is far-and-away the best song on “The Lady Killer,” and it doesn’t hurt that it has the bass line from Billie Jean. Honestly though, this is one of the more powerful soul records I have heard in a while!

WOW!!!

This just made my DAY. I love Ray Charles’ “Georgia’s on My Mind”…which is our state’s official theme song, and makes me proud to be from GA. This song is a GREAT extension of that. Nothing will EVER replace RC’s GA theme song, but if the state had a mixtape, this would be track 2.
