“There will be six new dances created in Atlanta, the Gumby will come back in style, and we will see some Atlanta staples have a very important year: T.I., Ludacris, and Young Jeezy. [But] there needs to be more collaboration between different genres. There are some great indie rock bands that I know hip-hop folks would like, and vice versa. Meet the new “Frankenstein”… a Rappinassnigga

I am rarely impressed with a local hip-hop artist enough to reach out and feature them on the site… without having worked with them, meet them or seen them perform live… however I think Frankenstein needs a little shine.

These clips are off his mixtape “Rappinassnigga” which features west coast sounding, simple beats with gritty rhymes. This might be Atlanta’s response to the “Lil B” “Odd Future” movement… and though I HATE to make comparisons in hip-hop I feel that is the best way to describe a relatively unknown group to the masses.

If you are not feeling this music then you are gonna wanna miss our Anniversary party on the 28th at Star Bar… Cause they will be performing live.
