Hip Hop enthusiast Kevin Nottingham (KN) founded his popular blog in 2007 in an effort to bridge the gap between all forms of Hip Hop, from old school to new school and including underground to mainstream. This special A3C showcase is no exception to the KN principles featuring recording artists from HiPNOTT Records, Coalmine Records and the Hall of Justus Music Group.

Kevin Nottingham presents live performances by Rapper Big Pooh, El Da Sensei, Cymarshall Law, Chaundon, Roc C, Joe Scudda, Jozeemo, K. Sparks, Jermiside, Bekay, Spectac & Amiri, Nobody Famous, Tomorrow, Yesterday, E Reece and Singapore Kane.

Erik Sermon, Camp Lo, Rhymefest, Homeboy Sandman, Da Beatminerz, Diamond District, Pac Div, Mickey Factz, Black Spade, Jackie Chain and Skweby are some of the other several hundred artists that have been announced so far to perform during the 2010 A3C Hip Hip Festival. Performers will be released on a continual basis until the start of the festival.

In addition to the live performances and showcases, the A3C Hip Hop Festival features a wide variety of programming including the iStandard Producer Battle, Needle to the Record DJ Competition, Pro-Audio demonstrations, a one-on-one breakdance competition and educational panel discussions.

Festival tickets are available on the A3C Web site (www.a3cfestival.com). Individual 3-day passes are available for $33 each. For a limited time, attendees can purchase a pair of 3-day passes at $25 each and receive a collector’s edition A3C woodallion (a custom, handmade wood medallion) per ticket.

Jack Harris Jr, better known by his stage name L Dash, is an MC and songwriter from the Eastside of Atlanta, GA. His debut studio album, entitled Android Dreams and Human Nightmares, is inspired by the ups and downs of life and will be released in 2011. L Dash’s musical palette ranges from Dirty South, Pop to Electronic with decadent and conscious lyricism. After touring universities and clubs last year with the group Digital Atlanta, L Dash is now focused on creating an album that has great substance and style.
