Rhymefest – "City Is Falling" // Music Video

Big Rhymefest fan, and were able to link up with him at RH’s Clossed Sessions. However, I’m not sure I really want Rhymefest to handle the R&B type music….though this is a smooth ass track. I’ll give it a couple listens and see what I think…but the visuals are dope!

HipHopDX – News Bits: SMKA Productions, Get Your Buzz Up

This summer, music production and artists management group SMKA Productions is teaming up with Whynatte beverage company for The Atlanta Stargazing Tour concert series. From July 1 until September 9, the series will put the spotlight on some of Atlanta’s hottest hip-hop and rock talent. Artists already slated to perform at the event include Nappy Roots, Playboy Tre, Paper Route Gangstaz, STS, Vonnegutt and more.

Atlanta Indie Music Fest 2010

The 3rd Annual Atlanta Indie Fest is right around the corner! Last year we brought you B.o.B, Yelawolf, Mickey Factz, and Donnis. This year its going down on July 24th @ 10 Krog St. with Hollyweerd, Mach Five, Aleon Craft, Hollywood Holt, Million Dollar Mano, Grip Plyaz, White Light Records, FKI, and many more!

This is one of the better annual events in Atlanta that allows everyone involved in the hip-hop and indie scene in Atlanta to come together, party and enjoy good music.

SMKA & Creative Loafing present: Mixt A Vol. 2 – An Atlanta Compilation

When Creative Loafing wanted to put together an Atlanta mixtape compilation, and with their hands full working on the music issue, they hit us up. We reached out to the Atlanta indie music scene and created a compilation that features music from some of Atlanta best underground talent from all different genres. The project has a little something for everyone: hip-hop, funk, rock, metal, alternative and more.

The tape accompanied the CL MUSIC ISSUE, June 2010.
