Atlanta Symphony Orcestra x SMKA x Aleon Craft = “Music is My Life”

Since October, Aleon Craft has been performing “Music is My Life” (produced by 808 Blake of SMKA) with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for their Concerts For Young People series. The ASO reached out to SMKA, a while back, to create a unique piece of music combining components of classical and hip-hop music. 808 Blake sampled a classical piece that the ASO was performing and transformed it in to a hip-hop song w/ the help of Aleon Craft’s lyrics. The goal was to create a song that would engage the thousands of students across GA that would attend the Concerts for Young People series.

Aleon Craft has performed “Music is My Life” @ the Atlanta Symphony Hall 12+ times in the past couple months, and his FINAL performances are on Feb 2nd-3rd. It has been a pleasure working with some of the best musician in the US and creating a truly unique piece of music.
