SMKA links up with BLAC WALDO to remix The 808 Experiment: Vol 1

Recently, The 808 Experiment: Vol 1 won Creative Loafing’s best local mixtape of 2009, (READ HERE) by both the readers and the critics. The project was released awhile ago…but it wasn’t until very recent did SMKA link up with Blac Waldo to remix the project.

Why Blac Waldo?
Well for starters, he is a dope producer who is also from the south…Alabama.

In addition, His style and sound is VERY different from SMKA. Waldo is a experimental/electro producer who is able to bring a great new feel to the project.

And Finally, Waldo (like SMKA a year ago) is a relatively unknow producer with A LOT of talent.

We have a few tracks under the belt, and they are DOPE. Stay tuned for updates on the project…
